About our prices

Costs for your organisation depend on how many practitioners need to be licensed to use Outcomes Star and the training approach that works best for you. 

 

Why it costs what it costs

As an employee-owned social enterprise, we have priced the Outcomes Star to make it accessible. Our fees allow us to support organisations, undertake research and invest in the continual improvement of the Stars and Outcomes Star Online.

Outcomes Star licence prices for UK / Ireland

Account: £255 / €309 (includes 1 Account Lead licence/login) - Annual price
 Licence and login: £41 / €50 per practitioner - Annual price

Small teams

01: Open training is £245 per person for groups of 3 or less.
02: In-house training is priced according to number of participants:

  • £980 for 4
  • £1,200 for 5 – 8 
  • £1,320 for 9 – 12 
  • £1,630 for 13 – 16

Large teams

Our licensed trainer programme to develop your own in-house trainer is £2,500 for initial training and a one-year license with ongoing support. Once completed, licence renewal, ongoing support and our CPD programme is £1,250 per year.

Additional training

You can purchase bespoke refresher courses or practice reviews for £1,320 for a full-day programme or £665 for a half-day. 10% discount if purchased alongside core training.

Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone using the Star as part of supporting people through your service. They can be professionals of any background including peer workers, or volunteers.

Anyone using the Star as part of supporting people through your service, and anyone who needs a login to Outcomes Star Online for any other reason, must have a licence.

Only people using the Star to support people (or managing those supporting people) must complete Core training.

Licences are not linked to the number of people your service is supporting, or how many records you create on Outcomes Star Online.

Training is a one-off cost, but we highly recommend regular refresher training and practice review sessions. See Training for more information.

Licences are annual.

Outcomes Star licences include access to all published versions at no extra cost, and Core training will enable you to use any Outcomes Star version.

Please note, for most versions of the Star we don’t recommend using more than 1 with the same person at the same time. There may also be important differences between the Stars that you need to be aware of before making the decision to use them. Contact us for advice on the right Stars for you.

Licensed Trainers can only provide Outcomes Star training within their own organisations, unless under a bespoke agreement with us.

Only our own training team, our international partners or our Licensed Trainer community can provide Outcomes Star training.

Our licensing and training model allows us to maintain and continually invest in the Stars, the Outcomes Star Online and the support we provide to organisations to get the most out of the approach.

Organisations located in Australia, Aotearoa/New Zealand, Canada, Denmark or Italy will be supported by one of our international partners.
